EverFocus Secures Second Taiwan Patent for PHX-N1000 Modular Edge AI Camera Design
EverFocus Electronics Corp. is pleased to announce that the PHX-N1000 Edge AI Camera has received its second Taiwan patent, further expanding the product’s intellectual property protection from functional structure to exterior design.

From Lens Structure to Camera Set Design
The PHX-N1000 was developed to help users adapt the camera to different AI vision requirements without replacing the full hardware system. Through LENSCORE technology, users can change plug and play lens modules based on the target scene, including telephoto, wide angle, fixed, zoom, HDR, and WDR options.
This flexibility is useful for system integrators, AI developers, and industrial users working across different field conditions. Lens selection may change depending on object distance, field of view, lighting environment, and image capture requirements. With the PHX-N1000, users can adjust the lens module while keeping the same main camera platform.
The second patent adds protection for the exterior form of this modular design. The patented camera set includes a lens module and a main unit, both designed with rounded hexagonal forms. The design also includes signal connectors, positioning holes, and positioning parts that support the combination and separation of the two modules.
Built for Practical Edge AI Deployment
PHX-N1000 is designed for Edge AI vision applications that require on device AI processing and flexible camera configuration. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano or NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, the camera supports AI inference directly at the edge, helping users process visual data closer to the deployment site.
For AI vision projects, this means users can test, adjust, and deploy camera systems with fewer hardware changes. A wide angle lens can support larger area coverage. A telephoto lens can support longer distance recognition. HDR and WDR options can help in high contrast lighting environments. Zoom and fixed lens options give users more flexibility during testing and installation.
By separating the lens module from the main unit, PHX-N1000 also supports a clearer system layout between image capture and edge computing. This structure helps users manage camera configuration, AI processing, and installation needs in a more practical way.
Stronger IP Coverage for PHX-N1000
The value of the second patent is direct. It does not represent a separate new feature. It protects the physical product design behind PHX-N1000’s modular camera concept.
With the first patent covering the interchangeable lens and the second patent covering the exterior camera set design, EverFocus now has broader IP coverage around the PHX-N1000 platform.
This supports the product’s long term development as Edge AI cameras continue to move beyond traditional surveillance and into industrial AI, smart transportation, smart city, and AIoT applications.
