Conquering Blind Spots, Redefining VRU Safety!
Whether motivated by the desire to protect the Earth through energy conservation and carbon reduction, or driven by health considerations in the post-pandemic era, an increasing number of people are opting for cycling as a mode of transportation for commuting and leisure activities all over the world. However, according to research conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO), traffic accidents involving two-wheeled vehicles have surged to unprecedented levels in recent years. Annually, approximately 1.2 million individuals lose their lives in traffic incidents, with more than half of these fatalities involving Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs), such as pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.
